Ask about our Early Involvement Program. We use SDS2 and Tekla 3D modeling software to create compatible models for BIM projects.

Project Management
Fabrication
Every component of our fabrication process, from modern CNC equipment to each experienced craftsman, is focused on accuracy & efficiency. Our customers can be confident that our product will meet or exceed their job requirements, ensuring less rework and smoother-running projects.
Doing Steel has complete in-house blasting & painting capabilities, as well as an AISC endorsement for complex coatings. We handle a wide variety of special coatings for corrosion resistance and fire protection applications.
Coatings / Finishes
Loading / Staging
Doing Steel utilizes Combilift Systems to load and stage shipments fast, efficient, and safe. This makes shipping your steel convenient and on schedule every time.
Transportation
With access to a solid variety of freight options in the Springfield area, including our own freight line, we ship 600 tons of fabricated steel per week to job sites all over the United States. We also have 30 acres to coordinate and stage your fabricated steel to ship in the sequence and schedule that suits your project.
Erection
With a large range of experienced steel erection partners, we can offer the complete structural package.
